Scratch Players Group Application

In the event you qualify for membership in the Scratch Players Group (SPG), please complete the application form below. This application does not pertain to individual golf clubs affiliated with any particular golf association/union/federation. For those looking to join a club where a handicap for you is established, proceed to the SPGC Sign Up Sheet via the link above.

If you are not certain as to the Scratch Players Group membership qualifying criteria, please first proceed to the SPG qualifications page to review such criteria prior to submitting the SPG membership application.

Prior to any SPG membership applicant being admitted, thereby gaining unrestricted access to the member's area and benefits thereof via a username and password, each applicant shall unconditionally agree to abide by the SPG Bylaws and all the content & restrictions therein. Please review and print a copy of the SPG Bylaws prior to being admitted as an SPG member.

All non-qualifed membership applications received by the SPG will be deemed "Registrants" and as such will be kept informed via email of SPG related developments, announcements and press releases until & if you email

a request for removal from the notification list.

Scratch Verification Governing Body for career golf professionals, this would be

your PGA or Tour affiliation (PGA of America, Nationwide Tour, South African PGA, Hooters Tour, PGA Japan, PGA Australia, etc.)

For Amateurs and others, this would be your Governing Handicap Administrator for your primary Club/Course that computes handicaps only under the authorization of one of the five recognized golf handicap systems in the world; USGA, CONGU (GB&I), AGU (Australia), EGA (Europe) & RCGA (Canada) / examples - NCGA, FSGA, FFG (France), NYSGA, GAM, QGU (Queensland), TGA, VSGA, CBG (Brazil), MGA, OGA, BCGA, JGA (Japan), RFEG (Spain), etc, etc.

Handicap or Professional Number SPG membership requires scratch verification status.

What we are looking for here is the number or code to either verify scratch status via the internet or, if necessary, whatever number, information or data is required from the applicable organization and/or governing body to verify scratch status via telephone, email or fax.

Golf Course to Profile SPG membership admittance currently requires completion of a

"course profile". While this requirement may be waived, enter the course you prefer to profile.

Do you understand the first year SPG dues of $35 shall be paid prior to being admitted to the

SPG unless such dues are waived SPG dues are waived for the first 999 members

("Charter" Members) for first year or until there are 1000 or more members, which ever occurs later
