2007 Champion
Jeremy came in relatively unknown outside of Arizona to dethrown the infamous Danny Green of Tennessee in the final match 3&2. That was after ousting Medalist, Robert Funk on his home course in the semi's. All told, Jeremy played about even par golf for the championship after finishing T2 in stroke play on a very challenging golf course. 7-time SNGA Player of the Year, Brady Exber also made the semi's.
The 09 SPMA will be at Mayacama GC
in Northern California near Santa Rosa during
the early Spring. Mayacama is one of the top 70 courses
in the country. The SPMA is a Scratch Players World Am
Ranking event as well as a NCGA point event. The format is
36 holes of stroke for 16 match spots. All match play is during the weekend each year. Field spots are allocated to those with distinguishable amateur tournament track records determined primarily as those eligible mid-ams ranked among the top 1000 amateurs worldwide. The 08 SPMA will not be held and more information on the 09 SPMA will be forthcoming herein as we get closer to 09.

The SPMA Champion earns a two year exemption into the Scratch Players Championship with the semi-finalists getting an exemption into the next SPC.
